When her daughter's Girl Scout troop, the Wilderness Girls, lose another leader, a wealthy socialite takes over the role. The troop are ready to rough it, camping out in the best hotels, sporting Giorgio backpacks and winning badges for facials and pricing jewellery, but rival troop leader Betty Thomas takes them on. Can the wealthy women's troop cope with snakes, skunks and streams?
