Sandy and Kirsten legally adopt Ryan. The newest member of the Cohen clan ends up escorting Marissa to Cotillion, where Seth meets up with Anna Stern, a new student from Pittsburgh. At the festivities, Jimmy's clients discover that he has been stealing their money and a fist fight breaks out.

After a man is found bludgeoned to death on the side of the road, the squad teams up with another detective who believes that he is hunting the same roadside killer; Maura discovers that her identity has been stolen.
