Iroha Inukai lives in Animal Town with her beloved pet dog, Komugi; at Kaihin Park, she is attacked by a strange creature, a Garugaru; at that moment, a stone Komugi found begins to sparkle.

Mey Mey has returned to his original form after having been a Garugaru and asks Komugi to help his friends too. Komugi says she won’t do it unless Iroha joins her, but then a new Garugaru appears.
