Upon learning his family is bankrupt, William breaks into his family's secret treasury.

Dantalion reveals that he was the one who paid for William's tuition; Sytry approaches William and proposes that his uncle could be his patron.

Sytry tries to convince William to choose him over Dantalion; William orders Dantalion to leave; the academy is besieged by ghosts.

William is surprised when his butler becomes the new priest at Stradford; Camio makes his appearance.

Dantalion is not happy that William seems to favor Camio; William, Isaac and Sytry investigate the old mill.

Mycroft requests that William comes to his manor to meet his family, and Dantalion and Sytry tag along for protection.
