Maybe This Time

Steph (Sarah Geronimo) is a young and ambitious Manila girl who spends the summer in the province. There, she meets Tonio (Coco Martin), a small-town guy who wants to board a ship for his family’s future business. Eventually, they fall for each other. But what might have been a sweet relationship ends sourly when Tonio leaves without saying goodbye. Steph's broken heart toughens her up and teaches her to dream big and be someone worthy of love. She busies herself with chasing a promotion, eventually accepting a task from her uptight boss to snag the position she desires. The excitement fills Steph over her potentially bright future. However, she is transported back to the past upon meeting her new client, Tonio. Despite the lingering feelings they have for each other, Steph and Tonio's reunion becomes nothing but a meeting of two old friends. Steph tries her best to be professional, while Tonio makes it clear that he has found the one in his current girlfriend. But a trip to the place where they first fell in love unnerves the two, making them question if a second chance is still possible for both of them.
