Bomber Command's losses were so great that new offensive techniques were required.The RAF developed the bomber stream and used technology to combat the German night fighters.

The Big City, 1944-1945

One raid on Berlin on January 28/29, 1944 is shown in detail, with all the planning, and electronic measure and counter-measures used by both sides against each other.

Preserving the Memory

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton has one of the largest collections of restored and flying WW 2 aircraft, including North America's only Lancaster. They are a memorial to the men who flew them.
