UM the cat is tragically hit by a car and her diaphragm is ruptured. Meanwhile, Mamas the terrier is spayed, but the sutures are not removed and skin starts to grow over the spayed area.

Bill lives in a tent with his dog Eli, who suffers from entropion and skin tumours. Dr Kwane also meets a young lady named Whitney and her dog Bummer, and he is astounded to hear their unfortunate life story.

Kuma the puppy lives on the streets and needs to be vaccinated, neutered, and trained. Michael and his dog Presley live in a shelter, and he is worried that a lump in Presley's neck could be cancerous.

Barbara needs to put her cockatoos into temporary boarding so she can find them a new home, but the required tests are very expensive. Also, Kwane meets James and his dog Ladybird, who is limping.

Dr Kwane meets a dachshund whose eyes are cloudy. Tank's owners resuce him from being a bait dog, but they are worried about his recent weight loss. Also, Shadow the dog gets a cut on his ear from a fight.

When Dr Kwane gives Goldie the dog a health check, his owner becomes overwhelmed with emotion and talks about how difficult life is being homeless and living on the streets. Dr Kwane searches for a vet technician who can help him out.
