Manchester City approached the 2013/14 campaign determined to win a second Premier League title in three seasons and to add to their string of Cup triumphs. With new manager Manuel Pellegrini in charge, the message was clear - score goals, play beautiful football and bring silverware back to the Etihad Stadium. City did all that and much more with in excess of 150 goals scored in all competitions and completing the double in the Premier League and Capital One Cup. The season was an unforgettable ten months with football of the highest calibre as City achieved their aims with style and panache, breaking Club and Premier League records along the way.
