Jason Atherton's Dubai Dishes

Jason's debut in Dubai is all things spice as he explores a traditional souk in the heart of the old town - Jason is also joined by Dubai chef Rahul Rana, who makes a chocolate that is filled with spiced beetroot curry.

Jason cooks a Spanish dish inspired by a full English breakfast in the world's best brunch hotspot - we also get to sample a sublime shakshuka, and chef Howard Ko shows us that his truffle risotto with parmesan goes down a storm at brunch in Dubai.

Jason takes a trip to a Dubai vegetable market as he makes dishes that include a tomato tartare with black olive tapenade and a pudding made with beetroot and carrot - he is also joined by chef Mohamed Orfali, who visits a farm just outside Dubai.

Award-winning chef Jason Atherton continues his journey through Duba as he cooks up some delicious fish and seafood recipes inspired by this beautiful coastal city - he will also be joined by chef Akmal Anuar, who heads into the Persian Gulf on a deep-sea fishing trip to catch fresh barracuda for an incredible woodfired recipe.

Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton uses beautiful produce from the Middle East to create delicious dishes that have fruit as its hero ingredient, including figs with balsamic and honey and a salad of orange, carrot and avocado with a zesty orange and lime dressing. Jason's guest chef this time is Daniel Birk - his own executive chef in Dubai - who samples some fruity cocktails before creating a delicious lobster and mango dish.

Jason celebrates quick bites and food on the go Dubai-style, showcasing oysters with a spicy Asian-inspired dressing and a super easy and delicious grilled corn with chilli and parmesan - Jason is also joined by Arab pit master Hattem Mattar, who cooks mac and cheese with spicy lamb sausages over an open wood fire.
