Imposter: The Man Who Came Back from the Dead

A man known locally as Arthur Knight wakes from a coma in a Glasgow hospital to find himself surrounded by the police. It's claimed that he is really Nicholas Rossi, a fugitive from justice and one of America's most wanted criminals.

From behind bars, Arthur Knight rails against the injustice of his incarceration, and his distressed wife Miranda is at a loss as to what they can do to get their lives back. Surely Nicholas Rossi's tell-tale tattoos can settle the case.

An explanation for the missing tattoos, and further evidence linking Arthur Knight to Nicholas Rossi emerge, as the Scottish Court affirms that they are the same person. It's still uncertain whether his English wife is a victim or a collaborator.

From behind bars in Scotland, Rossi whips up a media storm against his American prosecutor alleging paedophile and cannibal crimes. But the extradition moves forward, and Rossi is flown back to Utah to face trial for alleged sexual offences.
