Ten pastry chefs enter the kitchen to begin a journey to compete for $100,000. The judges announce that the winner of the first challenge will win a brand-new advantage.

Contestants are stunned when they find out that they must incorporate movement into their dish.

In the first elimination of the season, the contestants must impress with desserts that trick the eye by appearing to be something else, while ensuring flavour is front and centre.

The chefs find the kitchen transformed so that it resembles a scene from a quintessential Aussie country town, with a table displaying classic country treats: lamingtons, vanilla slices and custard tarts.

It's the infamous team relay, and to win immunity, the remaining nine contestants are split into teams of three and must work as trios to create one harmonious dessert celebrating ricotta.

The contestants enter the kitchen to find performers from Cirque du Soleil putting on an amazing display from their show Luzia, and must then create a circus-inspired dish to win immunity.
