It's Thanksgiving and Ted and Barney agree that they're both fed up with women. In this unstable state, they devise a brilliant plan: they should adopt a child together because as men they feel they understand each other better than a man and a woman could. However, Ted and Barney slowly spiral into couple-like behaviour and have a huge argument.
