Kenneth (McBrayer) has a difficult time letting go of his page duties and takes drastic measures to make sure Tracy (Tracy Morgan) is taken care of. Meanwhile, Jack (Baldwin) and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) come up with a plan to get Avery back in the headlines.

Jack (Alec Baldwin) feels unworthy of his latest award and attempts to redeem himself by taking on the writers in a strategic board game. Liz (Tina Fey) believes she’s cursed on St. Patrick’s Day when her ex-boyfriend Dennis (guest star Dean Winters) shows up to derail her relationship with Criss (guest star James Marsden). Meanwhile, Hazel (guest star Kristen Schaal) struggles to keep the peace between Tracy (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna (Jane Krakowski).

When Tracy portrays Jack as a villian in a movie, Jack and Tracy engage in a battle of wits; Liz takes Jack's advice and puts her needs above those of the show; Jenna tries to protect Kenneth from Hazel's manipulation.
