Following a falling out with Laura, Rob goes to see a drive-in movie. After sleeping through it, he awakens to discover he has been accused of assaulting an elderly woman.

Rob and Laura remember the time that a trip to Mexico and a $10 divorce fee almost put and end to their marriage.

Andy, Barney and Opie substitute Aunt Bee's terrible homemade pickles with store-bought ones to avoid eating hers. Their plan backfires when Aunt Bee decides to enter them in the county fair.

Barney sets out to prove that the Mayberry Bank is prone to robberies and is not safe. Disguised as a cleaning lady, he easily slips by the bank teller and accidentally locks himself in the vault.

Gomer moves in with Andy after he loses his job at the filling station. Before long, the Taylor house turns into another filling station as Gomer's customers line up to get their cars looked at in Andy's driveway.
