After a week on Vancouver Island, several of the participants find success in their new environment. Some work in harmony with the wilderness and others battle against it. Careless mistakes threaten to send two people home.

After three weeks, mental and physical struggles take their toll on the remaining participants. Some teeter on calling it quits as they battle deep-seated conflicts.

The remaining participants wear thin as starvation and isolation become unbearable, and one man faces a potentially deadly situation.

After a month in the bush, nature and seclusion are proving difficult to withstand. Some push themselves to ensure survival, others question their ability to endure.
