While trying to prove their worth to Captain Lafrey and the rest of The Bureau Underground, Leroy and Max finally get a lead on the whereabouts of Agent Checker.

Leroy makes a personal confession to Max about Annie just as they see what appears to be an alien ship in the sky. Back in the office, everyone accidentally overhears Leroy's confession while viewing Max's UFO footage.

Everyone, including Captain Lafrey, is surprised and alarmed when The Bureau Underground is assigned a new captain, Merv Minette. Minette doesn't seem thrilled with his new post.

Leroy brings in a psychic to help figure out who bugged the office. Max refuses to give in to the superstitions.

The Bureau Underground struggles to be taken seriously; disheartened by the lack of respect, the team turns to Merv, who offers very little support; an unlikely relationship forms; Max makes a startling discovery.
