Deren LeRoy

Deren Leroy didn't break into acting into his mid-20s, with his first role as a so-called Handsome Cookie in an episode of "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (Nickelodeon 2004-07). But that start in 2004 quickly grew a little more high profile after a memorable appearance as a doorman in the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie action film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (2005). He also appeared on several episodes of TV around the same time, including "7th Heaven" (The WB/The CW 1996-2007). A pair of television movies ended the 2000s for his acting career, as he appeared in "Him and Us" (2006) and "Point of Entry" (2007). In 2016, Leroy emerged again as a regular among one-off roles in TV shows, including appearances in "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS 2009-), "Colony" (USA 2016-), and "The Mayor" (ABC 2017-). His two most notable turns during this time were as Agent Cecilio on a few episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (ABC 2013-) and as Marv on the workplace comedy "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (Fox 2013-).
