A star pupil from Metropolis University, Geoff Johns, pitches up in Smallville to show Clark the advantages of attending the university. However, after one of the Met University's football players dies under mysterious circumstances, Clark becomes suspicious of Geoff, and when Lois is framed for the murder, Clark steps in to investigate.
