To Go Viking

In 'To Go Viking', filmmaker Matt Poitras documents the adventures of the Texas Jomsborg Viking Age re-enactment group over an entire year. The film follows a spectacular campaign across Europe where they participate in a series of massive scale competitive Viking re-enactments with hundreds of others. In Poland, they engage in a full contact fighting event at the 17th International Slavs and Vikings Festival at Wolin, a location which is speculated to be the actual historic birth place of the 10th Century "Army of Jomsborg".
