The Pride and the Passion

As the Spanish army retreats from Napoleon's invading troops, only a handful of partisans remain to carry on the fight, aided by a British naval officer. Their target is the heavily fortified town of Avila, which they plan to take with the biggest cannon ever made. Meanwhile, there is a growing intensity between the leader's mistress and the naval officer.
