Long-Range Bombers over Germany

From 1942 onwards, the air war against the German Reich was intensified by the Americans using long-range bombers of the type B-17 FLYING FORTRESS and B-24 LIBERATOR. There were countless air battles between German fighters and the Allied bomber fleets.
