Kuhle Wampe or Who Owns the World?

Berlin 1931. The tribulations of the Bonike family during the Depression. Their unemployed son commits suicide so his sister Anni and the family move to Kuhle Wampe, a holiday camp outside Berlin which is home to several destitute unemployed people. During their time at the camp, Anni and her friends become increasingly aware of politics and the reality of the Depression.
