Guest Artist

A bitter, hard-drinking New York playwright reluctantly travels to Michigan to fulfil an obligation to work with a local theatre company in a town called Lima. There he has to confront not just the young wannabe playwright who brought him out, but his own failures as an artist. The Guest Artist is written by, and stars, Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Jeff Daniels and based on his own play.
