El Alamein: Bond of Honour

The multi-award winning Bond Of Honour recounts one of the epic battles of WWII in which the Italian army, fighting alongside Nazi Germany, sought to drive the Allied forces from North Africa to leave Europe under the dark shadow of tyranny. Through the eyes of Serra, a callow university student turned soldier, we see the full horror of war– constant attacks from the air and ground, the sweltering heat, the all-consuming thirst and finally an arduous retreat across the desert. The Allies are closing in and their commanders have left them for dead, so they must make their own way to safety across the endless sands.
