A Night Like This
Meeting somewhere at the intersection of Before Sunrise and Weekend, two star-crossed but seemingly disparate men connect over the course of a single night. As their unlikely connection deepens, haunting pasts resurface, threatening to unravel their mission for redemption and purpose. Lukas is a disillusioned loner and Oliver is a nightclub owner on the brink of bankruptcy. Both out alone at the pub drowning their respective sorrows, Oliver and Lukas decide to spend the night out together seeking a reason to live and the mythical 'meaning of life'. What follows is a revelatory evening of bar-hopping, discussions, and uncomfortable truths that challenge their fears, inspiring Oliver to pursue his childhood dream of music and Lukas to find a new hope in their connection. But when they finally share a kiss, secrets surface and push them to confront who they are, believing their lives can't accommodate love, they part ways. However, the distance between them only amplifies the undeniable pull they share, and they realise they can't bear to be apart. Together, they not only get to know each other but come to a better understanding of themselves in the process.
