S1, E1: Ian Paterson was adored by patients both in his private practice and in the NHS. They treated the Birmingham-based consultant breast surgeon like a `rock star', raising huge sums of money for his cancer clinic at a local private hospital. They thought he had cured them of breast cancer and saved their lives. But Paterson was diagnosing cancer when there wasn't any and cutting them open for no reason. In 2017, he was jailed for 20 years on 17 counts of wounding with intent.
