Katty

S1, E3: Despite being just 14 Katty is a wild child from a nice middle class family in Croydon. Katty is out most nights going to parties and sleepovers, drinking, smoking and making out with boys.  Katty started going off the rails when her dad left home when she was 13 and after a wild year where her grades went down and her social life was non-stop she now wants to calm down – while there’s still time. After a wild party at her friend Gigi’s house she starts going out with 15 year old sensible Phil who her friends think will be a calming influence and help Katty get rid of her promiscuous party girl reputation.  Katty starts to change but not enough in her mum’s eyes, so the crack down begins – she says Katty’s 16 year old friend Gigi is a bad influence and bans her from going to her sleepovers. Katty rebels against her mums discipline and storms out the house.  But after a number of emotional events Katty start to realise that she actually misses her dad and wants to start to rebuild the bridges with her family.  Once she’s done everything so young can she really go back to being a good girl, doing her homework, getting top grades and staying in at most nights with her mum and 2 sisters?
