Episode 2
S1, E2: Adrian Edmondson presents an observational documentary series set in the Yorkshire Dales during the summer months. He travels around its stunning landscape to meet the people who live and work in its remote rural communities, as well as visiting its tourist attractions such as Bolton Abbey, the Wensleydale Railway and Aysgarth Falls. In this episode, Adrian joins farmer Alex Wilkes as she takes her small dairy herd to compete at The Great Yorkshire Show at Harrogate. He also catches up again with 16-year-old shepherd Philip Mellin, who has just taken over the running of the family sheep farm with his mother following the death of his dad last year. Phillip is taking on a new challenge - attempting to shear a sheep for the very first time. Finally, Ade meets Tom Orde-Powlett, heir to Bolton Castle in Wensleydale. Orde-Powlett has an ambitious plan to train owls to deliver wedding rings to couples tying the knot at the historic castle.
