This electric drama follows child prodigy painter Declan Truss (Joseph Cross, “Milk”), who at the age of six becomes an art world marvel. By the time he’s seventeen, a chemical imbalance fueled by the tightrope of fame has led Declan to mental exhaustion. With a pushy mother and the pressures of an impending show bearing down upon him, Declan’s world opens up when he chances upon a group of rebellious freethinkers in Brooklyn.
