Gil Mellé
Gil Melle brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. His music also appeared on the television show "The Psychiatrist" (NBC, 1970-71). He followed this honor with songs in the thriller "You'll Like My Mother" (1972) with Patty Duke. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "The Andromeda Strain" in 1971. In the seventies, Melle's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the drama "The Savage Is Loose" (1974) with George C Scott, "The Ultimate Warrior" (1975) and the Rock Hudson sci-fi feature "Embryo" (1976). His work was also in the thriller "The Sentinel" (1977) with Chris Sarandon. Melle most recently worked on "Night Owl" (Lifetime, 1992-93).
