When David attempts to make a bid on a crematorium, Federico refuses and pushes for another employee. Brenda receives information from her doctor & Nate begins attending Quaker services with Maggie, to the chagrin of Brenda. Meanwhile, Ruth sees her ex-boyfriend Hiram.

David and Keith struggle to create boundaries for their new sons. Brenda and Nate receive some ambiguous news while Ruth fills her schedule with activities.

A private chef is hired to serve a Passover Seder dinner, and one of the family members happens to be the asexual magician. The chef calls The Guy for delivery, and he arrives just in time to learn about Elijah.
