Based on a true story: Julie would have given up on all her dreams if she had listened to her doctors, her parents and everyone else. Her illness threatened her respiratory system. But the 16-year-old teenager follows her own ideas and lives life to the fullest. Madly in love with her first boyfriend, she gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby. She hides her pregnancy from her parents and doctors and decides to take things as they come. Julie braves the adult world armed with a conviction that can be a lesson for everyone: Since life can be short, it should be intense.
