After Sonsaku and Sousou both have their sacred beads stolen by Kansai fighters, Ryuubi decides to take the fight to Himiko instead of waiting for the inevitable. To her, this is the perfect excuse for a school trip!

As the Kanto fighters get separated on their way to Himiko, they also find themselves in unexpected situations. Kan'u encounters a sword fighter whose skills are staggering, and Chouhi learns that perhaps she has more potential that she ever knew.

The Kanto fighters slowly and separately make their way to Yamato Academy to face Himiko. Do any of them have the key to prevailing against her? Sonsaku wants to join the fight too, but will she ever make it to Kansai, even with some unexpected help?

Sonsaku's sister Sonken arrives at Nanyo Academy, and is almost immediately declared interim leader and thrust into battle against assassins sent by Himiko.

To save her sister Sonken's life, Sonsaku makes her way to the legendary training ground of Jofukuin. But awaiting her there are many surprises, some more familiar than others.
