George, Julian, Dick, Anne, and Timmy the dog aren’t banking on adventure when they’re made to go to a family party with Aunt Fanny. But when their car breaks down, they have to stay the night in a small town. The next day the local natural history museum announces an exciting discovery: a bone of an unknown species of dinosaur! At the museum, the friends meet Marty Bach, a peculiar man who claims his late father discovered a fully preserved dinosaur skeleton. But Marty’s photo with a hidden code gets stolen. Does it lead to the legendary Valley of the Dinosaurs? George, Julian, Dick, Anne, and Timmy want to help Marty, so they sign up for a guided tour around the area where they suspect the find was made. They’re convinced the thief is also on the hike, and they soon expose his cunning plan. They must reach the valley before the villain to prevent the skeleton being lost forever.
