Let's Make a Mug Too

On her first day in high school, Himeno introduces herself to the class by lining up the mugs her late mother made; her classmate Mika knows her mothers works, so she takes her to the pottery club.

While Himeno is engrossed in pottery, Touko yells at Mika for loudly playing with Naoko; Mika then rushes out of the clubhouse, and Touko confesses that she admires Mika for having such a free-spirited imagination.

The club visits a highschool pottery club and are in awe of the works that the students have made; they also share stories from their time in school.

A trip to the museum reveals a variety of mosaic art, followed up by a traditional Japanese candy store with colorful treats and fun photo opportunities.

The girls enjoy shaved ice made from spring water and sparklers while wearing yukatas and basking in the hot Tajimi summer.

The girls paint the plates they made with hand-building techniques; while Tanaka, Wakai and Honizumi make steady progress, Serizawa continues to struggle.
