It’s 1995 and 11-year-old hip-hop loving Eddie Huang has just moved with his family from Chinatown in Washington D.C. to suburban Orlando. They quickly discover things are very different there. Orlando doesn’t even have a Chinatown -- unless you count the Huang house.

Louis encourages the family to make new friends -- and promote the restaurant -- during a block party celebrating NASCAR; Eddie tries to win the the neighborhood kids' respect.

In the spirit of Halloween, Louis makes every effort to scare Jessica, who's busy drafting a horror novel; Eddie and his friends are excited to party at Nicole's house with some high school kids.

Louis must hire a professional instructor to give the restaurant staff a sexual harassment seminar; Eddie tries to impress his friends during a sleep over.

Eddie tries to make friends with the only other Chinese kid in school but finds they have nothing in common; Mitch takes a job at a rival Golden Saddle.

Louis helps Emery be cool at school; Jessica proves she can be a fun mom by chaperoning Eddie's field trip to Colonial Floridatowne.
