"Just as soon as food stall owner Adonis (Vhong Navarro) decided to forgo searching for his longtime childhood crush, he finds himself smitten by stunning supermom Athena (Valerie Concepcion). Adonis has a strong feeling that she is Ms. Right, but before he could even make a move, he already faces a huge setback: Athena's overprotective son Atong (Makisig Morales), who strictly requires his mother's would-be suitors to come from a huge family. With only his fellow orphans Nympha (Pokwang), Macho (Mura), and Hercules (Empoy Marquez) as his "family", Adonis is at wit's end on how to go first base with Athena. He, however, manages to win them by employing disguises just to become his culinary-savvy Barbara, his Filipino-American cousin Apl Dayap, and his aged but limber Paulina. But no matter how amazing Adonis's "family" is to Athena and Atong it cannot be denied that it is nothing but a huge deception, so Adonis desperately seeks for an opportunity to come clean before his lies catch up on him and turns away the people he has come to love."
