Police officer Max searches for the missing Gwen. His daughter, Wendie, is warned by her grandmother, who has dementia, about a red-haired girl. During a meeting at the water tower, when an invisible threat attacks and kidnaps Wendie's boyfriend, Clément, Wendie unleashes inexplicable powers. When Max arrives, he finds Clément and realizes that there is something supernatural at play.

Max and Lucie find Gwen's ankle boot and start a search party. Max discovers the girl alive in a well, but she is in a trance, just like Clément. A mysterious statue presents a riddle. While Wendie searches for answers at her grandmother's house, a clue leads Max to an abandoned summer camp, where he encounters a stranger.

While Max recovers, Lucie and Jean-Guy investigate a brutal minibus robbery. Wendie, Lea, and Nathan decipher an Ogham script, but are attacked by the mysterious creature. Wendie's grandmother drives the creature away with powers similar to those of her granddaughter. Max discovers on surveillance videos that the mayor was at the scene of the crime and took one of the mysterious statues with him.

Max and Lucie observe the suspicious mayor and panic him with a bluff. The man flees to a scrap yard, where Max finds mysterious statues, Ogham inscriptions, and a photo of Wendie. Meanwhile, Wendie discovers connections to Breton mythology. The mayor attacks Wendie and is then pursued by Max.

Wendie learns that her mother, Sarah, was a druid who could open the gateway to the Otherworld and died fighting the creature, Bugul-Noz. She discovers that her family are among the founders of Harz. Max reveals the truth about Sarah's death to Wendie. While Lucie discovers that the mayor had a secret son, Wendie goes to her grandmother's house, where the fake caretaker Fred is lurking.

Fred kidnaps Wendie and takes her to an abandoned chapel to use her powers to open the gateway to the Otherworld, so that he can see his mother again. Max must accept that the supernatural is real as he desperately searches for his daughter.
