Mein Freund, das Ekel

Olaf Hintz is a grumpy misanthrope who has driven his sister Elfie to her breaking point. Fed up with years of taking care of him, Elfie decides to leave and rents out her portion of their shared apartment to Trixie, a single mother. Hintz's nightmare becomes a reality as Trixie moves in with her three children, Murat, Afia, and Sean. Viewing the family as intruders, the reactionary old man immediately declares war on them, leading to tense and humorous confrontations. As tensions rise, the unlikely housemates must navigate this comic battle of wits and wills, discovering what it means to live together and apart.
