At her midwifery clinic, Lena Lorenz conducts a prenatal class. Expectant parents Lucie and Marinus eagerly anticipate the birth of their first child, but Lucie grows anxious when the baby stops moving. During Lena’s session, an expectant mother’s water breaks, forcing her to end the class early. Shortly afterwards, Marinus is invited to celebrate with the new father, while Lucie opts to stay home.
