Piripenguins

Ill in bed, Nugget annoys Pancake with constant complaints. To say sorry she makes him a cool friendship bracelet that's ‘one of a kind'. Pancake is delighted with his unique gift, but when "Nuglet fever" sweeps the berg and lots of other Piris get bracelets too, Pancake is left questioning his friendship with Nugget.

"Two left flippers" Pancake worries he'll spoil the synchronised swim team's chances in the swim contest, so he turns to coach Millie the Squid for help. At first he's annoyed by her off-beat training methods, which even involve cleaning her cave, but they pay off unexpectedly in the final, to his fellow Piris' surprise.

The Piripenguins fall under the spell of a mythical "Merguin" (a mermaid-penguin), who changes their personalities before leading them to her island from which no penguin has returned. With her friends in a trance, it's up to sensible Looph to prove that the creature is far from magical and bring them back to reality.

A slick sales rep visits the berg and, despite Pancake's doubts, convinces the Piris to buy extra pairs of flashy flippers complete with light up toes! The penguins quickly discover their purchases are duds and are forced to admit they've been bamboozled, before Looph finds an ingenious use for their poor investment.

Looph builds super-competitive Nugget a new fitness device to keep her occupied, but the flashy gadget sparks a craze across the berg. Running, skating, skipping, skateboarding and jumping, the Piripenguins all battle it out to clock up the most points on the leaderboard, only to discover a surprise winner at the end.

A mystery gossiper's stories in the newspaper prove popular with readers but cause friction among the Piripenguin friends. After Looph gathers together the evidence, Brinicle sets a cunning trap to discover the tittle-tattler's true identity before Nugget suggests an alternative use for their talented writing skills.
