Hae-won, a former cello teacher, decides to stay with her aunt for a while back in her home town. She hears that an old house has been changed to a small bookstore. Soon she finds out that the owner of the bookstore is Eun-seop, her old friend.

Hae-won decides to work part-time for the 'Goodnight' bookstore. Meanwhile, she talks about an old high school friend who betrayed her.

The story between Boyeong and Hae-won is revealed and how they became distant. Meanwhile, due to the freezing weather, the water pipe line in Hae-won's house is frozen. As a result Eun-seop and Hae-won begins to live together at the bookstore.
