Corey is a young and ambitious personal trainer who loves to push his clients to their limits. Raela is a preacher's daughter and a homebody who is trying to love herself enough to get fit. By gaining 60 pounds, Corey tries to put his intensity aside and find a way to help Raela reach her goals.

Since becoming a trainer three years ago, Katie's obsession with health and fitness fuels her passion for experiencing life. Alternatively, Chef Mateo's love for food has completely consumed every aspect of his life. He wants to lose weight in order to have the energy to keep up with his restaurant and his younger bride to be. Katie will leave fitness behind and try to gain 40 pounds in an effort to help Mateo redefine his relationship with food.
