Released from prison between the two rounds of the election, yet still monitored by an electronic bracelet, Philippe attempts to convince socialist candidate Amélie Dorendeu to review her strategy.

Amélie faces her first political roadblock as she struggles to rally the legislative majority she needs to pass her key Health Act; Cyril Balsan, a young member of parliament, starts to fight against a proposal.

The parliamentary crisis reaches a new peak; without an absolute majority, Amelie is more weakened than ever; yet she refuses to resort to constitutional shortcuts in order to force her way through and Philippe sees the opportunity.

Philippe no longer wants to be anyone's Black Baron - from now on, he will be on his own. His objective: the presidential election.

The regional election in the Hauts-de-France sees all of Philippe's close political friends competing on different lists.

Amélie sees her Green New Deal project with Germany dangerously challenged, whilst Philippe does everything possible to create his own fraction at "The People Stand Up".
