Nick Lukats
Nick Lukats was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Lukats's career beginnings included film roles in "Rose Bowl" (1936) with Tom Brown and the Barbara Stanwyck drama "Internes Can't Take Money" (1937). Lukats then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "King of Gamblers" (1937) with Claire Trevor, the western "Born to the West" with John Wayne and the drama "The Duke of West Point" (1939) with Louis Hayward. He also appeared in the biopic "Knute Rockne - All American" (1940) with Pat O'Brien. Later in his career, Lukats wrote the Frankie Albert drama "The Spirit of Stanford" (1942). Lukats passed away in January 1979 at the age of 68.
