Emelia Jackson, former MasterChef winner and the master of cooking desserts, shares some secret tips with the contestants.

The 24 contestants enter the MasterChef kitchen and are greeted by legendary chef Gordon Ramsay; when they get over the shock he tells them he will be here for the entire week to mentor them through the first stage of the competition.

Josh Niland of The Fish Butchery breaks down a kingfish for each of the contestants to select a cut to cook with; contestant with the least impressive dish will be sent home.

The five contestants with the most impressive dishes from the previous challenge must compete in an immunity challenge; Andy and Jock teach a MasterClass.
