Boss Hogg is very anxious to win the Hazzard County "Drag 'n' Fly" contest. But the only thing standing in his way is the Dukes and the General Lee. So when Luke is slightly injured, he has him hypnotized to get rid of the General Lee no matter who tries to stop him, which works too well.

Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) is kidnapped by an escaped prisoner who is seeking revenge, while Bo and Luke (John Schneider and Tom Wopat) try to get Boss back.

While taking out the garbage, Mel has an encounter with a little old lady who catches him by surprise when she mugs him. However, when Mel recounts the story, she suddenly becomes four thugs. Mel quickly eats his words when the she is captured.
