Breaking up is painful enough on its own, but Chen Xiao Zhou (Yu Shi) has the misfortune to get into an accident shortly after. Xiao Zhou is left with an unusual condition: if he sees the color yellow, he experiences bizarre, vivid hallucinations that turn his vision of people around him into rubber ducks. His new affliction causes him to struggle with his daily life, until he crosses paths with quirky food blogger Feng Jia Nan (Wang Ying Lu) – who somehow manages to prevent his hallucinations from acting up! Understandably, Xiao Zhou wants to keep Jia Nan by his side, but the two soon find that they enjoy each other's company and develop a connection beyond their initial "patient-cure" relationship.
