The Years We Have Been Nowhere

Sulemain, Olivia, and Patrick left Sierra Leone in search of a better future. After arriving in Europe and the United States, they rebuilt their lives. However, due to bureaucratic issues, they are forced back "home." The families who had invested in their future cannot accept their return empty-handed. The three become pariahs-abandoned and cast out twice.
