The Money Maker

Jan Bojarski, a Polish engineer and refugee in post-war France who becomes the legendary "Cézanne of counterfeit money", producing flawless fake francs for over 15 years from a garden shed, leading a double life unknown to his family and engaging in a cat-and-mouse duel with the obsessed Inspector Mattei.
